Wayne has a passion for entrepreneurship and innovative finance and has varying levels of engagement with several regional and international development institutions including the IDB, UNDP, Development Bank of Jamaica, Caribbean Development Bank, Compete Caribbean, and the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO). As the senior specialist for the Multilateral Investment Fund; the Innovation Lab for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Group (Include years or time periods), he led the origination, structuring, and implementation of several public and private sector operations using a mix of financial tools including grants, loans, and equity. He supported the design of the first private sector loan and technical corporation program under the Climate Investment Fund in Jamaica. Recently he led a consultancy to support the UNDP and the Planning Institute of Jamaica to assess the opportunities to develop innovative finance mechanisms to attract additional private capital to support the achievement of the Jamaica Vision 2030, National Development Plan. The assessment led to the design of Jamaica’s first SDG Impact Investment Fund which he is now developing. 

Wayne is a certified project management professional, with a degree in Management Studies & Accounting and an MBA.
